TAQUERIA EL REY DE OROS
In 1995, Martin Martinez arrived in Salt Lake City with a vision of opening a taqueria that sold authentic and affordable street tacos and burritos like his native Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, where he grew up. He accomplished his goals by opening the first Taqueria El Rey De Oros at 175 S. 900 W. in Salt Lake City in September 1995. After 23 great years, he retired and handed the business to his daughters. He sold his property in Salt Lake and moved to West Jordan.

Since opening our doors in 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Taqueria El Rey De Oros has been your go-to authentic taqueria for all your favorite Mexican food cravings. We have closed our Salt Lake location and you can now find us at our West Jordan Location. We also have a franchised location in West Valley.
